American Hockey League

NORFOLK ADMIRALS-Acquired F Paul Szczechura from Iowa for future considerations. Announced RW Marek Kvapil has been assigned to the team from Mississippi (ECHL) and F Mike Egener has been assigned to Mississippi.

SYRACUSE CRUNCH-Announced Columbus (NHL) has assigned LW Joakim Lindstrom to the team.


CHARLOTTE CHECKERS-Signed F Ryan Gibbons. Announced the N.Y. Rangers have assigned G Matt Zaba to Idaho.

ELMIRA JACKALS-Loaned C Kevin Ulanski to Milwaukee (AHL). Traded D Joe Grimaldi to Fresno to complete an earlier trade.
