Hodgson, Perrault and Shirokov each score as Moose win 6-3 over Monsters

CLEVELAND - Cody Hodgson, Joel Perrault and Sergei Shirokov each scored a goal and an assist as the Manitoba Moose doubled the Lake Erie Monsters 6-3 on Friday in the American Hockey League.

Marco Rosa, Shawn Weller and Stefan Schneider had the other goals for the Moose (5-2-0), who scored five straight goals to rally from a 3-1 deficit. Kevin Clark had two assists on the night.

Zach Cohen, Mark Olver and Greg Mauldin all scored in the second period for the Monsters (3-5-1).

Jason Bacashihua struggled in Lake Erie's net, stopping 15 of 21 shots in the loss.

Tyler Weiman picked up the win with a 24-save performance.

Both teams were a combined 0-for-10 on the power play.
