Iginla, Flames host rival Canucks

Vancouver (27-21-8) at Calgary (33-18-5), 9:30 pm EST

CALGARY, Alberta (Ticker) -- Captain Jarome Iginla and the

Calgary Flames will make an important stop at Pengrowth

Saddledome before heading back on the road.

Iginla will attempt to end a seven-game goal drought as the

Flames host the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday in a battle of

Northwest Division rivals.

Calgary, which went 2-0-1 over its three-game road swing, will

play nine of its next 12 games away from home after this one.

The division-leading Flames currently hold a nine-point

advantage over the Canucks in the standings.

The 31-year-old Iginla, who leads the team with 59 points this

season, was not among the 12 Calgary players to find the

scoresheet during Saturday's 7-5 triumph over the Phoenix

Coyotes.

Vancouver has won five of its previous six contests following a

season-worst, eight-game losing streak.

The Canucks, who are opening a four-game road trip, are coming

off a 4-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Sunday. Henrik

and Daniel Sedin each recorded a goal and an assist in that one.
