Iginla named NHL's first star of the week; Zubov second, Lupul third

NEW YORK - Calgary Flames right-winger Jarome Iginla, Dallas Stars defenceman Sergei Zubov and Philadelphia Flyers right-winger Joffrey Lupul are the NHL's three stars of the week.

Iginla was chosen first star after scoring a league-high seven goals with three assists to help Calgary win four straight road games.

Two of his goals were game-winners.

Zubov was the second star after picking a goal and seven assists in three Dallas wins. His biggest night came in a 5-4 overtime victory over Edmonton, when he recorded a goal and three assists.

Lupul bagged the third star honours after scoring six goals with four assists in four games.

He had a career-high six points (3-3) in an 8-2 victory over Pittsburgh on Tuesday and notched another hat trick in a 6-5 shootout loss to Carolina on Saturday.
