Islanders RW Comeau knocked out of game vs. Canadiens with foot injury

UNIONDALE, N.Y. - New York Islanders forward Blake Comeau has injured his foot and won't return to the game against the Montreal Canadiens.

Comeau, who gave New York a 1-0 lead 12:29 into Tuesday night's game, played five shifts that totalled 2:34 of ice time - all in the first period. He is expected to be re-evaluated on Wednesday.

Comeau has five goals and two assists in the past four games.
