James Neal scored two goals, Stars beat AHL affiliate 5-1

CEDAR PARK, Texas - James Neal scored two goals to help the Dallas Stars beat the American Hockey League's Texas Stars 5-1 on Wednesday night in the NHL team's final pre-season game.

Neal and Toby Peterson scored in the first period, Mike Ribeiro added a second-period goal, and Fabian Brunnstrom and Neal completed the scoring in third. Pertu Lindgren scored in the second period for the minor-league Stars.

Dallas starting goaltender Marty Turco stopped all 12 shots he faced.
