Jets deal minor-leaguer Riley Holzapfel to Ducks for Maxime Macenauer

WINNIPEG - The Winnipeg Jets traded Riley Holzapfel to the Anaheim Ducks on Monday for fellow minor-league centre Maxime Macenauer.

The 23-year-old Holzapfel had eight goals and seven assists in 29 games this season for the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League. The Regina native was a second-round pick of the Atlanta Thrashers in 2006.

Macenauer made his NHL debut with Anaheim this season, registering one goal and three assists in 29 games with the Ducks. The 23-year-old from Laval, Que., had four goals and two assists in 13 games with the AHL's Syracuse Crunch this season.

Macenauer was selected by Anaheim in the third round of the 2007 draft.
