Colorado's Joe Sakic, New York's Chris Drury and Tampa Bay's Julien Brisebois has been named Jim Gregory GM of the Year finalists for 2022.

Sakic is currently looking to become a Stanley Cup winner as both a player and a GM while leading the Avalanche to the final this year. Among the additions he brought in this season include Darcy Kuemper, Josh Manson and Artturi Lehkonen, and he built part of the depth core through the likes of Valeri Nichushkin, Devon Toews and Andre Burakovsky, among other additions, in recent years.

Drury took over as GM last May and immediately made an impact. Through a flurry of moves, including Frank Vatrano, Andrew Copp, Barclay Goodrow and Ryan Reaves, he helped take the Rangers to the Eastern Conference final. Drury played 12 years in the NHL, winning the Cup in 2001 with Colorado.

After building a team that won consecutive Stanley Cups, Brisebois was tasked with keeping the band together for a third run. The Bolts are playing for the Cup again after adding key depth pieces in Nick Paul, Brandon Hagel and Corey Perry, among others.

The winner will be named during the NHL draft in Montreal July 7-8.
