Joe Thornton the right choice for captain

Josh Barr, Flin Flon, Man.

Congrats to Joe Thornton for becoming the eighth full-time captain in Sharks history.

It has undoubtedly been his team since he arrived. He is always the first to address the media, he is very vocal with the team and proved he can have some success in the playoffs.

To all the Sharks fans crying that Joe Pavelski should have received the honor: the kid is only 26-years-old. He is no doubt a future captain of this team, but who better to pass the torch to ‘Lil Joe’ than ‘Jumbo Joe?’

Have faith, fellow Shark fans.
