Joel Ward scores overtime-winner in Houston's 2-1 win over the Bulldogs

HAMILTON - Joel Ward scored in overtime to lift the Houston Aeros over the Hamilton Bulldogs 2-1 Saturday night in the AHL.

Greg Stewart opened the scoring for Hamitlon (28-21-2-5) in the second period, getting his 10th of the year. But Cal Clutterbuck tied it shorthanded at 9:34 of the third to force overtime.

Barry Brust made 27 saves for the Aeros (29-22-2-3), while Jaroslav Halak stopped 35 of 37 for the Bulldogs.
