Joey Crabb scores to lift Toronto Marlies past Rochester Americans 3-2
ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Joey Crabb's power-play goal in the second period held up as the winner in the Toronto Marlies' 3-2 win over the Rochester Americans in American Hockey League play Friday.
Crabb broke the 2-2 tie at 18:02 and Marlies goaltender Jussi Rynnas made 13 saves in the third period to shut down the Americans.
Jay Rosehill and Christian Hanson also scored for Toronto (11-8-3).
A.J. Jenks and Michael Dubuc answered for Rochester (9-11-1).
Rynnas finished with 26 saves, while at the other end Jacob Markstrom stoppped 16 shots.
