Jordan Smith's perseverance

I really appreciated the article you ran about Lakehead defenseman Jordan Smith and the unfortunate eye injury he suffered in the American Hockey League.

Being a Soo Greyhounds fan, I had the opportunity to watch Jordan play and met him in person, as my mother is a good friend of his Dad, Marty.

It was devastating what happened to Jordan and it is great that you recognized the perseverance he exemplified, toughing it out to play hockey again.

He is super tough kid from a real tough family; glad to see his spirit isn't going unrecognized.
