It was the second goal of the game for Kariya, who also scored Nashville's first goal on a power play. Kariya took Manny Legace top shelf for the game winner.

Scott Nichol also scored for Nashville.

Keith Tkachuk had a goal and assisted on Doug Weight's goal for St. Louis.

The Predators have won 10 straight against St. Louis. It was also the 10th straight loss for the Blues. New coach Andy Murray is now 0-3.
