Kearns and Skille lead the way as IceHogs down Heat 5-1 in AHL action

ROCKFORD, Ill. - Bracken Kearns and Jack Skille each had a goal and an assist for Rockford as the IceHogs downed the Abbotsford Heat 5-1 in American Hockey League action Saturday.

Evan Brophey, Mark Cullen and Ryan Flinn also scored for Rockford (11-11-3), while Kyle Greentree and Daryl Boyle each had two assists.

Riley Armstrong had the only goal for Abbotsford (12-10-4).

Joe Fallon made 25 saves to pick up the with for the IceHogs.

Leland Irving allowed four goals on 12 shots before being replaced by Matt Keetley, who finished with 13 saves.
