Keep NHL in North America

In this day and age of the NHL constantly preaching cost certainty and stability until our ears bleed, how is it possible within 10 years Stockholm or Moscow have a better chance at an NHL franchise than Southern Ont., or any other part of Canada?

Where is the loyalty of the NHL to feed the hunger of true fans by putting the game where it belongs? Is CBC really going to show a 3 a.m. game as part of their doubleheader night?

It seems the NHL is forgetting why it exists in the first place and shows the true fan they mean nothing.

Do they not realize the best players from around the world make the trek to North America to play with the best players?

I say Nyet on the European moves.
