Krog has three goals, assist to lead Moose over Rapids 6-4

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Jason Krog scored a hat trick and added an assist as the Manitoba Moose held on for 6-4 victory over the Grand Rapids Griffins in AHL action Friday night.

Krog scored his 13th of the year and third in the game to put the Moose up 6-1 in the third period before Grand Rapids made a comeback bid with three unanswered goals.

Francis Pare, with two, Ville Leino and Jonathan Ericsson scored for the Griffins, while Jason Jaffray, Michael Grabner and Guillaume Desbiens had the other goals for Manitoba (28-13-0-2).

Raymond Sawada and Jaffray had two assists each and Cory Schneider stopped 26 on 30 shots for the Moose.

Daniel Larsson and Jimmy Howard combined for 22 saves in net for Grand Rapids (24-9-5-3).
