DOB: Jan. 13, 1991 In: Ayr, Ont.

First Hockey Memory:
"Playing road hockey or playing back home and parents would drive you to the rink and you'd go out with all your buddies. They'd have like kids organized games going. Pretty exciting."

Last Book Read: "Talent Is Never Enough."

Nicknames: "Cliffy, Big Red Dog, Colonel. I've had quite a few."

Greatest Sports Moment: "Haven't lived it yet."

Most Painful Moment: "Any time you're knocked out of the playoffs is pretty tough."

Funny Hockey Memory: "It's always nice to watch guys fall in practice, trip on a puck, I think that's pretty comical. Somebody who's skating back will trip over the blueline in a game or something, that always gives you a kick."

Closest Hockey Friends: "Shane Smith, a whole bunch of buddies back home."

Funniest Players Encountered: "I'd say Matt Greene's pretty funny, pretty comical."

Toughest Competitors Encountered: "All the big names. There's a reason they're big names. Because they work hard and obviously they're tough guys."

Most Memorable Goal:
"I don't know, they're all...they're all good goals (smiles)."

Strangest Game: "I'd say last year in the playoffs, 4-0 lead and ended up blowing it and losing in overtime (against San Jose)."

Embarrassing Hockey Memory:
"Missed an open-netter on a breakaway (smiles). Last minute of a game. It was brutal. (When?) Years ago. Clean breakaway, nobody was around me. (Where?) Syracuse, New York, in a hockey tournament."

Favorite Players To Watch: "Crosby. I think he's pretty exciting, his short career so far is pretty good. And I like watching any of the crash and bangers - Lucic and Chris Neil. Those guys are always fun to watch, similar style of game."

Favorite Sport Outside Hockey: "I don't really have one, I just stick to hockey."

Personality Qualities Most Admired:
"Honest people. Good character. I think character can take you a long way. If you're an athlete and you have a good character, I think it's a good foundation to build your talent on."
