LA Kings reassign D Jake Muzzin to minors, recall D Alec Martinez

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Los Angeles Kings have reassigned defenceman Jake Muzzin to their AHL affiliate in Manchester.

The Kings recalled defenceman Alec Martinez to replace him Tuesday.

Muzzin has one point in 11 games with the Kings this season in his first career NHL action.

Martinez is Manchester's leading scorer with five goals and 11 assists, including four goals on the power play.

Los Angeles' power play has struggled during the first three games of a four-game road trip, which ends Wednesday night in Montreal. The Kings have lost four of five after a six-game winning streak.
