Ladislav Nagy and Patrick Fischer also scored for the Coyotes, who rallied from a 2-0 deficit for their second win in six pre-season games. Alerxei Mikhnov and Ron Schremp scored first-period goals for the Oilers, who fell to 5-2. Laraque redirected Keith Ballard's backhander from the top of the left faceoff circle past Jussi Markkanen for his first goal with the Coyotes.

Mikhnov gave the Oilers a 1-0 lead just 21 seconds into the game, skating in on Michael Morrison and scoring on a soft wrist shot. Schremp made it 2-0 at 16:04 of the period on a shot from the right faceoff circle.

Nagy got the Coyotes within a goal at 13:22 of the second period with a power-play goal from the left faceoff circle. Fischer tied the game 2-all at 16:03, chipping a rebound over Markkanen from the top of the crease.

Nagy left the game with a cut on his hand after a hard collision and scuffle near the end of the second period. He's not expected to miss any regular-season action.
