
On July 20 at CKSA Arena in Moscow, Columbus Blue Jackets forwards Kirill Marchenko & Yegor Chinakhov, and 14 other Russians who currently play in the NHL, will take on a group of KHLers in a charity game.
Yegor Chinakhov, who recently signed a two-year contract extension, played in 53 games for the CBJ last season, scoring a career-high 16 goals and totaling 29 points. Chinakhov, who is 23, is from Omsk, Russia.
Kirill Marchenko, who is from Barnaul, Russia, played in 78 games last season and scored 23 goals for the Jackets. Marchenko has back-to-back 20-goal seasons. Marchenko is a restricted free agent and is expected to sign a new contract soon.
Former Blue Jackets Artemi Panarin, Sergei Bobrovsky, and Vladislav Gavrikov are also competing on the NHL side.
