Columbus Blue Jacket Forward Gavin Brindley Added To Team USA Roster For World Championships

USA Hockey announced yesterday the addition of forward Gavin Brindley to the roster. This comes just days after it was announced that his teammate and friend Adam Fantilli, who initially made the roster for Canada and played in a pre-tournament game, would be returning home. 

This is Brindley's first shot at playing for the Men's National Team. In the past, he has played on the U20 and U18 teams in the World Championships. In 14 games for the U20 squad, he has 14 career points. 

Some hockey fans will be disappointed that they won't be able to see a potential game between Gavin Brindley and Adam Fantilli. They'll have to put their friendly rivalry on hold for now.
