The Admirals and Swap Rabbits became the fifth and sixth teams to qualify for the Kelly Cup playoffs.

The post-season field is beginning to round out, with two more teams joining the previously punched seeds of Kansas City, Idaho, Adirondack and Toledo.

The Greenville Swamp Rabbits, first in the South Division with a 42-18-4-1 record and 89 points, qualified for the playoffs following a point in the 3-2 OT loss to the South Carolina Stingrays on Friday. Greenville fell to Jacksonville in six games in the Division Semifinals in the 2022-23 Kelly Cup Playoffs.

The Norfolk Admirals, second in the North with 38-21-5-1 and 82 points, punched their ticket to the post-season following a 5-2 win over the Atlanta Gladiators. It's a strong comeback for the Ads, who failed to make the post-season in 2022-23, finishing dead last in the entire ECHL last season.

The Jacksonville Icemen can clinch a playoff slot on Saturday depending on the outcome of their match against the Florida Everblades.
