Leland Irving makes 27 saves as Heat get past IceHogs 4-1 in AHL action

ROCKFORD, Ill. - Leland Irving made 27 saves Friday as the Abbotsford Heat downed the Rockford IceHogs 4-1 in American Hockey League play.

Cam Cunning, with a goal and an assist, Greg Nemisz, Mitch Wahl and Lance Bouma scored for Abbotsford (4-2-1).

Gaelan Patterson had three assists for the Heat, while Keith Seabrook chipped in with two of his own.

Wade Brookbank had the only goal for Rockford (3-3-0). Alec Richards made 14 saves in defeat.

Abbotsford finished 0-for-3 on the power play, while Rockford was scoreless in six man-advantage tries.
