Lightning C Lecavalier returns to lineup after missing game with hand injury

TAMPA, Fla. - Tampa Bay Lightning centre Vincent Lecavalier is back in the lineup after missing one game because of an injured right hand.

Lecavalier was cleared to play in Thursday night's game against the New York Islanders after skating with the team in the morning. Lecavalier said his hand felt "10 times better" than previous practice sessions during the week.

Lecavalier sat out Monday against Dallas, two days after the Lightning captain was hit on the first knuckle by a shot during a 6-0 loss at Florida.

The Islanders played without centre Josh Bailey, who left Monday's game against Toronto with a hip flexor injury.
