Linglet scores two, Beckford-Tseu makes 25 saves as Rivermen blank Bulldogs

PEORIA, Ill. - Charles Linglet scored twice and Chris Beckford-Tseu made 25 saves as the Peoria Rivermen blanked the Hamilton Bulldogs 5-0 Tuesday in American Hockey League action.

Peoria (10-8-2-3) jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period. Mike Glumac opened the scoring with his fifth goal of the season at the 6:01 mark, followed by Nikolay Lemtyugov's fifth goal of the campaign at 15:41.

Micki Dupont scored his third goal of the season at 4:53 of the second period to give the Rivermen a 3-0 lead.

The Rivermen opened up a five-goal lead with Linglet's second-period goals. Martin Kariya earned the lone assist on each of Linglet's goals and finished the game with three helpers.

Yann Danis suffered the loss for Hamilton (8-11-0-3 ), making 11 saves on 16 shots before giving way to Cedrick Desjardins, who stopped all 13 of the shots he faced.

Hamilton went 0-for-6 on the power play, while Peoria was also 0-for-6 with the man advantage.
