Linus Klasen has goal, assist as Admirals down Heat 3-1
MILWAUKEE - Linus Klasen had a goal and an assist as the Milwaukee Admirals beat the Abbotsford Heat 3-1 in American Hockey League action Saturday.
Jamie Lundmark and Mark Santorelli also scored for the Admirals (3-1-2). John Armstrong replied for the Heat (4-3-1).
Lundmark opened the scoring with a power-play goal at 5:49 of the first, firing a one-timer past Abbotsford netminder Leland Irving.
Santorelli doubled the Milwaukee lead at 7:42 of the second, beating Irving with a quick shot on a 2-on-1.
Abbotsford got on the board just 1:47 into the third when Armstrong picked up a loose puck on the boards before roofing a shot past Mark Dekanich.
Milwaukee restored its two-goal lead just 21 seconds later when Klasen deflected home his AHL-leading sixth tally of the season.
Dekanich made 23 saves for the Admirals while Irving stopped 15 shots for the Heat.
