Linus Klasen scores in overtime to lift Admirals over Manitoba Moose 3-2

WINNIPEG - Linus Klasen 29 seconds into overtime to give the Milwaukee Admirals a 3-2 win over the Manitoba Moose in the American Hockey League Saturday.

The Moose opened a 2-0 lead in the second period after Kevin Connauton and Sergei Shirokov each scored in the opening frame.

But Milwaukee's Scott Ford cut the lead to one when he scored his first of the year 16:50 of the second, then Aaron Johnson tied the game early in the third.

Mark Dekanich made 30 saves on 32 shots for the Admirals, while Eddie Lack stopped 23 at the other end.

Despite the loss Shirokov extended his point streak to 12 games to break a franchise record. He has 10 goals and 14 points in that span.
