List of moves on NHL trade deadline day

List of NHL transactions completed before the 3 p.m. ET trade deadline:

—Edmonton Oilers send forward Dustin Penner to the Los Angeles Kings for defenceman Colten Teubert, a first-round draft pick in 2011 and a conditional third-round pick in 2012.

—New Jersey Devils send centre Jason Arnott to the Washington Capitals for centre David Steckel and a second-round draft pick in 2012.

—Columbus Blue Jackets send defenceman Rostislav Klesla and forward Dane Byers to the Phoenix Coyotes for left-winger Scottie Upshall and defenceman Sami Lepisto.

—Calgary Flames acquire Fredrik Modin from the Atlanta Thrashers for a seventh-round pick in the 2012 draft. Calgary also claims defenceman Brett Carson off waivers from the Carolina Hurricanes.

—Ottawa Senators send defenceman Chris Campoli and a conditional seventh-round pick in 2012 to Chicago Blackhawks for forward Ryan Potulny and a second-round pick in 2011. Ottawa also claims goaltender Curtis McElhinney off waivers from the Tampa Bay Lightning.

—Vancouver Canucks acquire forward Chris Higgins from the Florida Panthers for defenceman Evan Oberg and a third-round pick in the 2013 draft. Vancouver also acquires centres Maxim Lapierre and MacGregor Sharp from the Anaheim Ducks for centre Joel Perrault and a third-round pick in 2012.

—Phoenix Coyotes acquire defenceman Rostislav Klesla and minor-league forward Dane Byers from the Columbus Blue Jackets for forward Scottie Upshall and defenceman Sami Lepisto.

—Atlanta Thrashers acquire forward Radek Dvorak and a fifth-round pick in 2011 entry draft from the Florida Panthers for forwards Nicklas Bergfors and Patrick Rissmiller.

—Washington Capitals acquire defenceman Dennis Wideman from the Florida Panthers for a third-round pick in 2011 entry draft and centre Jake Hauswirth.

—Toronto Maple Leafs send forward John Mitchell to the New York Rangers for a seventh-round pick in 2012.

—Edmonton Oilers acquire defenceman Kevin Montgomery from the Colorado Avalanche for defenceman Shawn Belle.

—Montreal Canadiens acquire goaltender Drew MacIntyre from the Atlanta Thrashers in exchange for defenceman Brett Festerling.

—Boston Bruins send defenceman Jeff Penner and forward Mikko Lehtonen to the Minnesota Wild for goaltender Anton Khudobin.

—Carolina Hurricanes acquire defenceman Bryan Allen from Florida Panthers for forward Sergei Samsonov.

—Columbus Blue Jackets send forward Tom Sestito to the Philadelphia Flyers for forwards Michael Chaput and Greg Moore.

—St. Louis Blues send forward Brad Winchester to Anaheim Ducks for a third-round pick in 2012.

—Atlanta Thrashers claim forward Rob Schremp off waivers from the New York Islanders.
