Locke scores twice, Aeros advance to AHL's Western Conference final

MILWAUKEE - Corey Locke scored twice as the Houston Aeros beat the Milwaukee Admirals 5-2 on Wednesday and won the American Hockey League West Division final in seven games.

The Aeros will face the Manitoba Moose in the AHL's Western Conference final, with the winner advancing to the Calder Cup championship. The Moose are coming off a four-game sweep of the Grand Rapids Griffins in the North Division final.

Krys Kolanos had a goal and an assist, while Clayton Stoner and Bryan Lundbohm also scored for Houston. Anton Khudobin made 27 saves.

Patric Hornqvist and Mike Santorelli replied for Milwaukee, while Drew MacIntyre stopped 25 shots.
