Luongo, Heatley, Thornton named NHL's three stars of the week

Luongo was named first star Monday after backstopping the Canucks to four victories, including two decided by shootout, and posting a 1.92 goals-against average and .940 save percentage.

He has won seven straight games overall to improve to 24-15-1 for the Northwest Division-leading Canucks.

Heatley was given the second star after leading all NHL scorers with eight points (five goals, three assists) in three games.

Thornton was named the third star after registering seven assists in two Sharks wins.
