MacLean back with Phoenix Coyotes after being claimed off waivers from Winnipeg

GLENDALE, Ariz. - The Phoenix Coyotes have re-acquired Brett MacLean, claiming the forward off waivers from the Winnipeg Jets.

MacLean will be assigned to the Portland Pirates, Phoenix's AHL affiliate.

The 22-year-old had two assists in five games with Winnipeg after the Jets claimed him off waivers on Oct. 5. MacLean had two goals and an assist in three games with Phoenix in 2010-11, spending most of the season with San Antonio of the AHL.
