Manitoba Moose score four straight to beat Houston Aeros 5-3 in AHL action

WINNIPEG - Joel Perrault had a goal and two assists and Eddie Lack made 26 saves Friday as the Manitoba Moose defeated the Houston Aeros 5-3 in American Hockey League play.

Mark Flood, Guillaume Desbiens, Shawn Weller and Kevin Connauton, into an empty net, had the other goals for Manitoba (14-10-4).

Cody Almond, with two, and Brandon Buck replied for Houston (16-13-3). Matt Hackett made 25 saves in defeat.

Down 3-1 in the second, Desbiens scored at 15:46 to make it 3-2 before Flood tied things at 19:43 on the power play.

Perrault gave the Moose their first lead of the game, again on the power play, at 8:50 of the third before Connauton scored into an empty net at 19:37.

Manitoba finished 3-for-6 on the man advantage, while Houston wound up 1-for-3.
