Maple Leafs defenceman Mike Komisarek leaves game vs Wild with lower-body injury

TORONTO - Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Mike Komisarek left Tuesday night's game versus the Minnesota Wild with a lower-body injury.

It's unclear when he was injured. He took six shifts and played 2:47 in the first period but did not return to the bench for the second frame.

Komisarek is in his first season with the Maple Leafs after signing a US$22.5-million, five-year deal.
