He met the local media today for the first time since suffering a concussion after a hit by Cam Janssen during a game in New Jersey last Friday. Kaberle doesn't have a firm timeline on his return but hopes to be skating again in a few days. GM John Ferguson says he calls into question the veracity of a sourced, printed report that said Kaberle was done for the season.

Ferguson says the team has not received any medical opinion to that effect.

Kaberle, who has 49 points (9-40) in 65 games this season, spent a night in hospital after taking a late hit to the head from Janssen, who was suspended for three games.
