We've been known to feature a lotofimpressivegoaliemask designs in this space. They're always top-of-the-line designs, usually by renowned mask painter David Gunnarsson, and are a window into the personality of NHL goalies.

Former NHLer Marek Schwarz took his mask design in a different direction.

The 30-year-old former St. Louis Blue recently debuted a mask covered in drawings made by his children, and the result is adorable and fantastic.

Schwarz is playing in the Czech league for White Tigers Liberec, and wore the mask for Game 4 of the league finals. It was his first start in two months, but he led Liberec to a 4-1 win to even their series against Sparta Prague at 2-2.

Schwarz had a cup of tea with the Blues, appearing in six NHL games between 2006 and 2008. He won a bronze medal with the Czech Republic at the 2006 world juniors, and returned to his homeland in 2009 where he has been playing since.
