Minnesota Wild send forwards Jed Ortmeyer, Warren Peters back to minors

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Minnesota Wild have re-assigned forwards Jed Ortmeyer and Warren Peters to their AHL affiliate, the Houston Aeros.

The moves were made Saturday, the day after the Wild beat the Anaheim Ducks in overtime despite playing without their top two centres. Mikko Koivu has a broken finger, and Kyle Brodziak was sick. Ortmeyer and Peters were brought up to help fill in up front.

The Wild host the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday.
