Misconceptions about Marleau

Josh Barr, Flin Flon, Man.

How can people possibly say that Patrick Marleau performs well during the regular season, but has "stage-fright" when it comes to the big stage of the playoffs?

He has a career .70 pts/game in the regular season, and a .67 pts/game in the post-season.

People are ruling him out of team Canada based on incorrect facts.

Had Marleau driven the Sharks past the Ducks last year, Getzlaf would have been given flak for underperforming.

Either way, one shines and one fades... unfairly.
