Montreal Canadiens assign forward Ryan White to AHL Hamilton

MONTREAL - The Montreal Canadiens assigned forward Ryan White to AHL Hamilton on Saturday.

The 21-year-old has been with the NHL team since Nov. 4. He appeared in 13 games and recorded two assists.

A fourth round pick of Montreal in 2006, White is in his second professional season.

Prior to being called up to the NHL, he had seven points (3-4) in 11 games with the Hamilton Bulldogs this year.
