MONTREAL - Carey Price will get the start in goal as the Montreal Canadiens attempt to even their series with the Washington Capitals.

Coach Jacques Martin named Price as his starter for Wednesday's game following the morning skate.

The Capitals lead the series 2-1.

Jaroslav Halak started the opening three games of the series for Montreal, but was pulled in favour of Price during Monday night's 5-1 loss.

Price stopped 21 of 23 shots in relief.

The two goalies battled for the team's No. 1 job all year before Halak took it over in the final two months of the regular season.

Defenceman Ryan O'Byrne will see his first action after missing the first three games as a healthy scratch, but it was unclear who he would replace in the lineup.

Rearguard Jaroslav Spacek missed practice on Tuesday and did not skate again on Wednesday. Martin said Spacek would be a game-time decision.
