Moose scores six unanswered goals to sink Admirals 6-3

MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Manitoba Moose scored six unanswered goals to cruise past the Milwaukee Admirals 6-3 on Friday night in AHL action.

Mike Santorelli put the Admirals up 1-0 on a tic-tac-toe power-play goal at 12:08 of the first period, beating Manitoba goalie Cory Schneider with a one-timer.

Santorelli, with his second goal of the game, and Antti Pihlstrom made it 3-0 Ads at 8:40 of the second when he deflected an Alexander Sulzer shot from the point.

However, the Moose would get two of those goals back by the end of the stanza, including a marker by Brad Moran with less than one second to play in the period.

Manitoba would tie the score at 3 just 2:06 into the third when Alexandre Bolduc jammed home a power-play tally from right in front of Admirals netminder Pekka Rinne before taking the lead for good on a breakaway goal by Michael Grabner at the 5:09 mark.

Juraj Simek made it 5-3 at 10:40 of the third before Greg Classen finished the scoring with an empty-netter with just under two minutes to play in the game.
