Nashville Predators call up rookie forward Alex Radulov

The rookie was called up to the NHL's Nashville Predators on Friday after scoring seven points in three games with the Milwaukee Admirals.

The 20-year-old was named the AHL's first player of the week. The Predators placed defenceman Greg Zanon on injured reserve to make room for Radulov.

Radulov was selected 15th overall by Nashville in the 2004 draft and was the Canadian Hockey League's player of the year last season. He had 152 points for the Quebec Remparts and was named MVP while leading them to the Memorial Cup.

Nashville's next game is Saturday against Vancouver.
