NEW YORK, N.Y. - Nashville Predators defenceman Shane O’Brien has been suspended for two games for high-sticking Florida's Stephen Weiss.

The incident happened during Florida's 3-2 win over Nashville on Thursday night.

O'Brien will forfeit $39,024.40 in salary.

He will miss a home-and-home series with the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday and Sunday.
