BOSTON - The Boston Bruins announced that right winger Nathan Horton has been transferred to Massachussets General Hospital and is moving all his extremities after taking a devastating hit from Vancouver Canucks defenseman Aaron Rome.

Rome received a five-minute major for interference and a game misconduct on the play. The hit will undoubtedly be reviewed by the NHL and it's expected Rome will receive some form of supplemental discipline.
