New Jersey Devils remove Martin Brodeur from injured reserve list
NEWARK, N.J. - Goaltender Martin Brodeur has been taken off injured reserve by the New Jersey Devils after being sidelined more than two weeks with a bruised right shoulder.
Brodeur practised Monday and could play Wednesday when they play host to the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Prudential Center.
The 39-year-old Brodeur was hurt Oct. 13 making a diving stop against the Los Angeles Kings in the first period. He finished the frame before being replaced by Johan Hedberg, who has started the last six games.
The Devils sent Keith Kinkaid back to Albany.
