The Chicago Blackhawks made eight-year-old Jordan King’s dream come true on Tuesday when he took part in the team skate. Watch as Jordan skates, passes, shoots and scores alongside his heroes in red, white and black.

According to his mother, Tammy, Jordan King has always wanted to skate alongside the Blackhawks. Earlier this week, Make-A-Wish Illinois and the Blackhawks teamed up to make Jordan’s wish come true.

Jordan, who is just eight years old, skated with the team on Tuesday during practice, got his very own stall and even managed to put the puck past Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford on a breakaway. Check out Jordan’s day with the Blackhawks:

Sporting the number 19, the same number as his favorite player Jonathan Toews, Jordan also took part in a few shooting and passing exercises with the Blackhawks, including spending some time and shooting some pucks alongside Toews.

Jordan suffers from hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS), which, according to the CDC, is a birth defect that does not allow for blood to flow normally through his heart. HLHS can result in breathing problems for an infant.

Congratulations, Jordan. Maybe we’ll see you with the Blackhawks again someday.
