COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Columbus Blue Jackets activated defenceman Rostislav Klesla off injured reserve Tuesday.

He had missed the past several weeks with a high ankle sprain. His return will bolster a roster already missing several top players.

Klesla has one goal and two assists with eight penalty minutes in 11 games this season. The fourth overall pick in the 2000 draft - the franchise's first pick ever - has 36 goals and 73 assists in 421 career NHL games, all with the Blue Jackets.
