St Louis (16-21-3) at Edmonton (19-18-3), 8:00 pm EST

EDMONTON, Alberta (Ticker) -- The St. Louis Blues will seek

their third straight victory as they continue their trip through

Western Canada against the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday.

Brad Boyes snapped a tie late in the third period with a

power-play goal and B.J. Crombeen scored 21 seconds later on

Friday as the Blues skated to a 6-4 victory over the Vancouver

Canucks.

David Backes and rookie Patrik Berglund each netted a goal and

set up another and All-Star Keith Tkachuk added a pair of

assists for the Blues, who will visit the Calgary Flames on

Tuesday to conclude the road trip.

Alex Steen and T.J. Oshie also scored and Manny Legace made 18

saves Friday for St. Louis, which had lost 10 of its previous 13

contests. The Blues, who have not won four in a row this

season, will now look for their third three-game winning streak

of the season.

The Oilers are wrapping up a five-game homestand. Friday's 4-1

setback to the San Jose Sharks may have been very costly to

Edmonton, which lost All-Star defenseman Sheldon Souray and Zack

Stortini to injuries.

The 32-year-old Souray departed with just under 13 minutes

remaining in the second period after being slashed on the left

hand by San Jose's Tomas Plihal. He has recorded a team-leading

12 goals and 17 assists in 38 games this season.

Stortini, who has a goal and three points on the campaign,

injured his leg during a fight with Brad Staubitz.
