St. Louis (5-8-1) at Chicago (7-3-4), 8:30 p.m. EST

CHICAGO (Ticker) -- The St. Louis Blues hope to salvage the

final game of a dreadful five-game road trip when they visit the

Chicago Blackhawks on Friday.

St. Louis has lost the first four contests and dropped six

straight overall (0-5-1).

The Blues had three losing streaks of at least six games last

season with a season-long seven-game slide taking place from

January 11-24.

Goaltender Manny Legace was pulled 5:18 into Wednesday's 4-3

loss to the Buffalo Sabres after allowing three goals on seven

shots. David Perron had a goal and two assists in the loss.

Chicago had its four-game winning streak snapped on Wednesday,

dropping a 2-1 shootout decision to the Boston Bruins.

After going without a goal for the first 12 games, Blackhawks

captain Jonathan Toews tallied for the second straight contest.

He had 24 goals during his rookie season.

Chicago lost a 4-3 shootout to St. Louis on October 18 in the

first meeting between the teams.
