I think Mr. Campbell has seriously underestimated how close Canada has come to not winning five gold medals in a row.
In the past two tournaments Canada was pushed to a shootout in the medal round. In the latest event, Canada needed a miraculous goal with only five seconds left in regulation to just tie the semifinal. We could have easily been playing for bronze and if that happened we would likely be re-evaluating every aspect of our junior development program.
No Mr. Campbell, winning five golds has not been easy; every tournament is another hard test of our hockey skills.
