    RALEIGH, N.C. - The Carolina Hurricanes activated right-winger Scott Walker from the injured reserve list Tuesday.

    He missed 17 games after suffering a torso injury during a road game against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Oct. 19.

    Walker, 34, has one goal and two assists in seven games this season. He had 51 points (21-30) in 81 games last season.

    The Hurricanes will play the visiting Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday night.
